Magic Robot

Here is Will's latest purchase, from the craft show in Cawsand. From the 1950's, you point the robot at a question, then pick him up and put him on another dial and it gives you the answer. Magic!

Archie comes to lunch

a little cornish chap called Archie came for lunch today. We went in the garden and ate fresh parsley, went for a scoot and played with Noah's Hot Wheels track.

Tregonning Hill

Yesterday we went on a great walk from Carleen to Treganning Hill. The first place china clay was discovered.

A Walk at Penlee

Yesterday had a walk through the wood, found some special sticks and stomped through the leaves. Noah thought he was Kung Fu Panda.

Noah's pizza

One of Noah's favourite culinary activities is making pizza. Not surprising really as his Dad must be a world authority on Quattro Formaggi. Thanks to the pizza stone (an inspired wedding gift - thanks Fin and Abby) the Richards Trattoria was open for business again today - yum.

Junk food baubles

Will picked up a set of these for the tree in Homebase - includes slice of pizza, popcorn and fries!

Vintage Fisher Price dolls house bought today in Animal Welfare shop in Porthcawl. It's been well loved but can definitely stand another battering. Already a hit with Ruby and only £2.

Yesterday I had an urge to make some felt animals - he's a bit scruffy but I think it turned out OK. Next request from Noah - a lion.

Christmas lights

Yesterday we went to the switching on of the Xmas lights in Porthcawl. Ruby and Noah had a ride in a teacup. Ruth Jones switched on the lights ("Porthcawl - what's occuring?") - all 3 of them!

Noah's injury

Noah came home from school today with a bloody nose - the dinnerlady phoned to say that he had been kicked in the face whilst running ( do they practice kick boxing?). However as usual Noah had his own story - that one of his little friends nutted him and his chin had blood on it and that 2 older girls told the teacher!

Ruby's latest trick

Yesterday she took a tissue from the box, blew her nose then crawled to the bin and put it in. Favourite word = Piizzzzaaaaaaa!
