What fun a tiny bit of snow creates. Thank you sky.

We went to the LATCH party today. LATCH are a fantastic charity supporting kis with cancer and their families. There was face paiting, puppeteers, tattoos, crafts, photographer, entertainers, circus skills

and a ride in a stretch limo

Watching all the children having such a great time was heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. Thank you so much LATCH.

Noah came home from school today.

"Mummy I need to make a robot for school tomorrow"

This could mean:

1. He needs to make a robot for school tomorrow.

2. He needs to make the robot but not until a more reasonable time in the future.

3. He made it up.

However the thought that he may be the only one without a robot got the better of me, and some toilet roll tubes, googly eyes and lots of glue later..... and I present the Ruby and Noah robots.

Remote Ruby

Ruby tries out Noah's remote control car. Kept her interested for quite a while, though the car just went round + round + round + round..............

Daddy went to Wholefoods

Will brought treats back from London. Choco pops for the kids..

and yummy stuff for me.

Magic Patch box

Ruby has to wear a patch over her "good" eye, ideally for a few hours a day. This is supposed to help strengthen the bad one, whose vision might have been "switched off" by the tumour getting in the way. Now the tumour has shrunk, there might be room for improvement. However getting her to wear it at all is a real battle of the wills (or is it battle of the Wills? she sure is like her Daddy). So I invented the magic patch box, a little box full of jewellery which she can only play with when patched. 

Sometimes works. Managed about 30mins today.

Meeting Joni

Finally met the adorable Joni today and had a fun day in Nailsworth with the Walters's.
