Noah's story: There was a bat. He met a crocodile. They had a fight, the crocodile punched the bat and (that's when I stopped it).

Jewellery Box

Ruby loves her jewellery box, full of home made necklaces (ebay is the greatest for beads), unused bobbles (hair is only just getting long enough), and other little treats, plus cute revolving fairy

Welsh walks

For the past couple of weekends we've done some good walking. First up was Margam Park, which, once you get past the scruffy cafe and obese chip eating families, reveals the most stunning countryside and views ( just ignore the huge steel works OK?)

This weeked we went to the waterfall walks near Ystradfellte (try pronouncing that if you're not Welsh!). A bit trickier with kids as it was beautiful butquite rocky and muddy but worthwhile to stand behind a huge and noisy waterfall. After 5hrs walking though and the odd hail shower we'd all had enough.

Good Ruby

Ruby had her check up at Birmingham Childrens hospital yesterday. She was such a good girl, very brave. I took her to H&M afterwards and she chose some blue trousers and a floral top.

TTV

Origami Hearts

Made these lovely origami hearts for the kids - ruby doesn't care but Noah is OBSESSED by any present - giving - occasion. Just so he can get the present. So of course I obliged. instructions here
