Today is my birthday

Owing to illness we had to have two birthday parties but fir the sake of simplicity lets bundle it all together. Lots of pinkness, dancing to Wombles and cupcakes galore. Happy Birthday Rubes!

Pizza Richards

Will's pizza palace was open for business this lunchtime. Noah's was a ham, olive and mushroom.

Mine was a parma ham, goat's cheese and rocket - yummy yummy

Noah's gone to Granny's for a week so it's time to break out the treats to keep Princess Ruby happy.

Last days of school

We watched Noah's jolly singalong, where they belted out "amarillo" and "When I'm 64".

Here is Noah with teacher Mrs Howells, after enjoying the after party where he ate his bodyweight in Hula Hoops and biscuits then ran around until his hair stuck to his sweaty forehead.

Lunch at the Price's

Today we went to Cardiff for lunch at the Price's. Joe was a dutiful patient for Nurse Ruby

Glastonbury at home

Been enjoying Glastonbury with the kids - I'm not brave enough to actually take them there yet, and anyway you see more on the TV without the crap toilets, horrible people and living off falafel all weekend. Noah has really been getting into it. Here he is breakdancing to Dizzee Rascal:

He also loves the Ting Tings. Ruby likes Lily Allen's pink hair. THey like the Fleet Foxes. I set them up with iplayer and hooked up the sound to the speakers.

Hey you two, promise to take you to Green Man again next year.

Lego with Grandpa

Doing Lego with Grandpa Mike has become a bit of a ritual, a bonding experience. Here you see Grandpa looking puzzledly at page 1 of the instructions. 

Meanwhile Noah has nearly finished building it.

Motor Home

Yesterday we went in Tom and Joan's motor home (totally fascinating to the kids) to Rest Bay where we had open air fish n chips.

Racing Grandpa

Noah is really into running and insisted on having races, even in his pyjamas this evening -luckily Grandpa was up for the challenge. After a lengthy bedtime story from Auntie Joan he had no problems getting to sleep, so thanks guys for wearing him out!
